Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to potential NGOs for onboarding and supporters to introduce them to our organization, its mission, and its programs.
- Build rapport and establish relationships with prospects through effective communication.
- Provide information about our current campaigns, events, and initiatives, and encourage participation and support.
- Conduct follow-up calls to previous donors and supporters to maintain relationships and secure ongoing support.
- Record and update donor information, interactions, and contributions accurately in the database.
- Meet or exceed individual and team fundraising targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop strategies for donor acquisition and retention.
- Represent the organization professionally and positively in all interactions with donors and supporters.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telemarketing, telecalling, or a similar role, preferably in a non-profit organization or fundraising environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships over the phone.
- Goal-oriented and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
- Proficiency in using CRM software or databases to record and manage donor information (experience with [specific CRM software] is a plus).
- Passionate about the mission and values of our organization, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the community.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
