Job Description:

Responsibilities: 

  • Project Planning: 
    • Work with the leadership team to develop project plans, including objectives, timelines, and budgets. 
    • Define project tasks and resource requirements. 
    • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, work breakdown structures, and risk management plans. 
  • Project Implementation: 
    • Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure successful implementation. 
    • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise. 
    • Communicate regularly with project team members, partners, and stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback. 
    • Ensure compliance with project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints. 
  • Project Evaluation: 
    • Develop and implement project evaluation frameworks to assess the impact and effectiveness of project activities. 
    • Collect and analyze project data to inform decision-making and improve project outcomes. 
    • Prepare project reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. 
  • Stakeholder Management: 
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including donors, partner organizations, government agencies, and community members. 
    • Engage stakeholders in project planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. 
    • Address stakeholder concerns and facilitate resolution of conflicts as needed. 
  • Capacity Building: 
    • Identify opportunities for capacity building within the project team and partner organizations. 
    • Provide guidance and support to project staff and partners to enhance their skills and knowledge in project management and related areas. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international development, social sciences, business administration). 
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the NGO sector. 
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on team building and motivation. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
